Scissor lifts
The scissor lift solves a floor problem. With a minimum height around 110 mm on the ultra-thin models, a lowered car drives straight on without ramps, and the lift disappears into the floor line when it is down. On mobile variants the whole platform moves, so one machine can serve two bays.
Capacity runs from 700 kg on the small mobile unit to 3.5 tonnes on the full-rise platform. Lift height is the other variable: 1200 mm on the mobile models, 1850 mm on the full-rise bridge. Decide which you need by the work — wheels-free at chest height, or full standing access underneath.
A scissor platform lifts on a vertical path, so nothing swings under the vehicle and the jacking points are fixed by the platform pads. That is faster to load than a two-post, and it is why tyre shops and quick-service bays use them.
Delivery and terms
Mobile units need only a level floor and a power point. Fixed and in-ground units need the recess or the foundation prepared to the drawing, and the drainage planned if the bay is washed.

What does "ultra-thin" mean in practice?
A minimum height around 110 mm, low enough for most lowered cars to drive over without ramps. Check your lowest vehicle against the figure on the product page.
Can I move it between bays?
On the mobile variants, yes — the platform runs on its own wheels within the bay. It is not a road-going trailer; it is moved on a level workshop floor.
Is a pit needed?
Not for the surface-mounted scissor lifts. The in-ground scissor is the flush-floor option and does need a recess.
How do I lift a car with a scissor?
The platform pads pick up the manufacturer jacking points, the same as a two-post, but from below rather than from swinging arms.
