01 / Overview

Overview

The two-post lift is the default in a general repair shop because it leaves the underside open. The arms swing under the vehicle, the pads pick up the jacking points, and the technician works standing up. That access is why the format survives alongside scissor and four-post designs: nothing sits between the operator and the transmission tunnel.

The rated capacity is 4 t, which is the working load the machine is designed for rather than a breaking load. Lifting height is 1850 mm, so the carriage stops at a working height you can stand under on most cars and light vans. At rest the machine sits 110 mm above the floor, the figure that decides whether a lowered car clears it without ramps. Drive is a 2.2 kW unit on 220/380 V; confirm the site supply and phase before the order, because it fixes the motor and the control box.

On this range the rated capacity is 4 tonnes, the lifting height 1850 mm — 1820 mm on one heavy-duty variant — and the minimum height 110 mm. That 110 mm figure matters more than it looks: it is what lets a low car roll over the arms without ramps. The drive is a 2.2 kW hydraulic power unit on 220 V or 380 V, with single-cylinder and double-cylinder variants in the range.

Column height follows the lifting height, so check the ceiling before choosing: an 1850 mm lift needs clear height above the carriage, not just above the roof of the car. Unlocking is manual on the standard build, with a double-sided release on the gantry variant so both columns release from one working position.

03 / Delivery and terms

Delivery and terms

One unit is the minimum order. The published band runs from USD 839 to USD 888 per unit depending on quantity; prices are USD, ex works, and exclude freight and destination duties. Payment is 30% by T/T to start production and 70% before shipment, and standard configurations typically leave the factory within seven working days of the deposit. The machine ships in export packing suitable for sea freight; packing dimensions and gross weight come with the quotation so your forwarder can price the container. Warranty is 12 months against manufacturing defects.

The lift bolts to a concrete slab of adequate thickness and compressive strength — this is the single most common installation failure in the trade, and it is not covered by warranty. Confirm slab depth, reinforcement and the anchor specification before pouring or drilling.

Before you order

Before the order is confirmed, four site conditions decide whether the machine fits: the supply voltage and phase at the wall, the floor or slab that carries the load, the access width and turning space for the truck and the unloading equipment, and the clear height above the machine at full rise. Send those four with the enquiry and the quotation comes back with the right build the first time. If one of them is unknown, say so — we would rather ask twice than ship a machine that has to be modified on site.

04 / Questions buyers ask

Questions buyers ask

Will it lift my SUV?

The rating is 4 tonnes, which covers most SUVs and light commercial vehicles. Check the vehicle gross weight and the jacking-point spacing against the arm reach at quotation stage.

Single or double cylinder?

Both are in the range. A double-cylinder build drives both carriages directly; a single-cylinder build uses a cable or chain balance to the second column. The double is the more common choice for daily commercial use.

What slab do I need?

A reinforced concrete slab of adequate depth for the anchors and the load — your structural engineer should confirm it against local code. We supply the anchor specification with the machine.

What clear height is required?

Enough for the carriage at full rise plus the vehicle roof, with working clearance. As a rule, plan for the lifting height plus the tallest vehicle you expect, plus margin.
